Welcome to Taverner's family farm shop and the Orange Elephant Ice Cream Parlour, an enjoyable food haven for the whole family.

A working farm today, the Taverners have been farming for four generations with dairy cows, sheep, beef cattle and chickens.

Taverner's Farm is home to pedigree South Devons, known as 'Orange Elephants' because of their impressive size, long faces, large ears and rusty coloured coats.

Taverner's Farm is the only farm still milking South Devons for their rich milk, makes our Orange Elephant Ice Cream so special.

Enjoy our ice-creams in the parlour, along with cakes, cream teas, snacks and light lunches, or relax in the sunny courtyard and join us for a barbecue at the weekend in summer.

The farm shop sells fine local, seasonal and organic produce, including our own organic South Devon beef from the butchery, handmade sausages and burgers, free range eggs, regional cheeses, salads, vegetables and delicious local honey.
